ABOUT ME

I've not always been into fitness and exercise, far from it actually. However thanks to a car accident when I was 15, and numerous operations during my 20s, I'm now one of the lucky few who doesn't have a 'job', but has a hobby where I get to make a difference to people's lives every day. Because of my personal history, it's given me a lot of empathy for people with various conditions, especially for those that live in chronic pain and also for those with disabilities or illness. I know firsthand what a difference exercise can make to people's lives, both mentally and physically.

 

I also know how important it is to do it right - quality not quantity. With this attitude, I'm fortunate enough to work with, and help, people ranging from children to the elderly, to those that have been born with disabilities or have developed life-changing conditions, and to those that simply want to be the best version of themselves.

MY FOCUS

For a Personal Trainer you won't often find me working with people in a gym. I tend to see people at their own place, using the living room, the garage, the garden, a nearby park, the woods, or a nasty hill somewhere!

I work mainly in the Surrey, Hampshire and surrounding areas. Should you wish to come to me, I have a small gym in Aldershot, Hampshire where personal training can take place.

 

I love using body-weight exercises. After all, it's the most versatile piece of equipment that we all have access to. It's also the safest when used performed with the correct technique, and rolls on to everything we all do in life. 

When it comes to group workouts, I'm a trainer that's focused on watching people's form, giving them progressions or regressions where needed, and pushing to get the best out of them.

 

I truly believe that exercise should be done correctly, and it's my job to ensure that's the case for everyone I work with. In classes we don't stick to a beat or do small moves. Everything is big, dynamic, explosive, and most importantly, enjoyable...maybe only at the end of the class though!
